Well to me this picture is equivalent of that Taylor Swift song, and that whole madonna/whore dichotomy. Honestly the art style in this picture is lovely, but there was a better way to get this point across instead of using the word slut. In fact it could have been as simple as “Gamer Girl, Not Gamer Girl” and actually I’m gonna go draw my own version of this that’s less slut-shamey.Yeah and I have no problem with the calling out of it like I’ve said repeatedly. I have a problem with people calling them sluts. You do realize there are ways of calling our bad behaviour without calling people sluts? I’ve already said that girls who do this a delusional, sad, but in no way a slut.The word slut was obviously a poor choice here. We can agree on that. I’m just sort of bewildered by the way the word itself garnered all of this attention to the point where the reason why this picture was created was ignored for a bit.
and also I didn’t bring up the point of the picture because I have no issue with that point. I thought tumblr was smart enough to know it was implied but apparently not rofl
